mbd121's Journal, 29 July 2019

Today is a fresh new day. A new day, week, a new start to the month. A fresh slate. I whined all last week about not seeing progress, but did I really put in the work? Some days it felt like I did, but somedays I definitely did not. I wish I was still working with my trainer because it was easier to stick to my plan knowing that he would see my daily ups and downs.

The next few weeks will be hard due to money related stress. Back to school time is rough for me, especially when you have an 11yr old who had a growth spurt over the summer and doesnt have shorts that cover her booty anymore.

So, my plan of attack today is to:
Stay in my RDI
Drink water
Make a plan for the week
Make a plan for the month
Make a list of items to sell online
Food Prep breakfast for the week
List one gratitude for the day
List one NSV for the day.

My NSV for today is that my mom bought me a Cubs shirt for my birthday. It was a womens XL which, is NOT my size. I buy XXL in womans or 2X depending. Anyway, I tried it on and...I mean it fit.

My Gratitude: Today Im thankful for FS, a community where I see people succeeding in the way I want to succeed.

Thank you! It’s so easy to forget that stuff, or think victories or gratitude has to be something big. I’m trying to value small things to keep from being overwhelmed.
