Had my first dietitian appointment this morning. I used to work with one for my eating disorder many years ago. Now that I’m six years in recovery, it’s really neat to hear the positivity in her voice and it’s reassuring that I am doing quite well. She made me feel really good about the weight gain, and about my food choices. I was honest with her about my days that I go over and she suggested I really look at a total week rather than just small scale day-to-day. I told her all about this app and how I get so much support here and she was so happy about it and I could hear her typing her notes about it as I spoke LOL. We made a goal for me to get back over to the YMCA for some additional structured workouts aside from just the things I do at home. I really don’t want to jump into the cleaning that I could do it this morning, I’ve enjoyed staying off of my feet and seeing the swelling in my legs and feet go down. So I’ve given myself permission to sit in the recliner. Otherwise just been doing silly insurance calls, Other boring adult matters. Had a great lunch of toast and cheddar cheese slices, and now I’m really feeling like a nap. Maternity leave day one, going just fine.
