Early weigh in ahead of what may well be the start of 3 very bad weeks. I am genuinely dreading how much weight I'm going to out back on over Christmas and the New Year. So many traditions include food in my family. We have 2 Christmas dinners for Pete's sake! I plan on trying to exercise during the holiday (being off work for a fortnights shut down isn't going to help one bit) but I'm guessing a good 7 or 8 pounds is going to be added on after January 1st because I am surrounded by people whose favourite phrase is "go on, it won't hurt" and I have no will power. But for now, I am so close to 200 pounds it's incredible!
202.0 lb Lost so far: 70.0 lb.    Still to go: 43.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good luck, so many of us are feeling your pain with the worry of a Christmas gain, good luck, try to have a fab time, hopefully without too much of a gain, we will all be there on the other side of the holidays to support each other!

each pound of weight is 3500 calories don't forget. don't eat 24500 calories every day and you'll be golden ☺

I'm hoping to limit myself to maybe two or three 'bad' days Christmas week and New Year week (by bad I mean when my calorie count is over 1500/day). That gives me four days in each week to compensate with reduced calories so that on average over the week I can be close to the 1500/day but don't have to worry on my celebration days. And trust me, I'll be celebrating with the best of them as this is a time for celebration not beating ourselves up. 🍾🎅🎄😉

I was hoping to do something similar. And then had 4 whole pieces of toast for breakfast, with ravioli! So I'm pretty much over today's calorie count already and I wasn't meant to be bad until Christmas Eve!

Nooooo! Bad words! 😂😂😂😂😂 I already opened the chocolate coated stollen last night. Weight is well and truly screwed now 😂
