John10251's Journal, 02 December 2018

Today is a catch up day. I did an out of town engagement yesterday and did not have time to make a journal entry. I got in a medium intensity resistance workout on Friday and ate under goal, met my protein goal and met all activity goals. BF up.1% over Thursday. Yesterday I at 139% of my old calorie goal or 132% of my new calorie intake goal. I increased my calorie input goal by 150 calories today. I spent six hours driving yesterday and did not meet all activity goals however I did meet my calorie output goal. Amazingly, this morning my BF is down .3%

My weight has not been much of an issue since I have focused more on body fat than my total body weight. Resistance training is having more of an impact now that I'm working my muscles to exhaustion consistently. Going to the gym has been one of my best investments in me...

John, you're amazing! Well done on controlling your weight so well. You have a great routine going, so you instantly know when you've gone off track, and where, and as you constantly monitor everything, you pretty much know ahead of weighing and measuring what the result will be. All kudos to you!

John are you using calibers or a very good scale to determine your body fat? 6-8 months ago I believe you sent me information about some scales. I bought one then returned it, because it wasn't exactly like the one you suggested.

Thanks HCB,I wish that I had more formal music training especially in music theory. Heidij123, I believe in logging and tracking to maintain good nutrition. Most of the time I don't have a clue what the results will be for each day. There are so many factors involved. I do watch closely for trends. I can't spot them without the data to crunch. Scalewatcher, I'm not very fond of my scales. They seem to work better now than when I first got them. I have calibers that I use too. I find the results of both subjective when it comes to measuring body fat. I have had other scales that I like better. I have accepted that all we can do is the best we can. You guys inspire me...
