momma6224's Journal, 07 June 2018

I don’t know how the scale went down...I have been struggling the last week or two. My eating habits have taken a dive into carb laden foods and sugary treats. I am mad at myself and feel yucky. I really fear regaining the weight I’ve lost—I’ve done that before—more than once. I don’t want to start over again but I am on that path and must get off quick. Every day I tell myself I’m going to do better and then I don’t. Time to find my self control (it ran away when I least expected it to) and get back on track. Thanks for always being there for me even when I’m not there for myself🙂

You can do this! It is a bump and not a wall or pit so just climb over it and keep on losing using your WOE and exercise. You have got this!

SiS, you know you and I have a kindred spirit between us- so I'm going to say this directly: SHAKE IT OFF and MOVE ON BUTTERCUP! You can do this and you have done this. Nice drop though. That's a WIN when you eat junk and still lose. LoL.

Keep calm Momma. This time will pass. Just tighten up that tiny little belt you must wear around your dress nowadays and you will be fine. Go momma go!

One possible reason (of many others) Carbs do contribute to the second highest thermic affect of food, so it’s likely one reason was that some of the consumed calories were burned off from intake as well. Take it as a win win, & keep on keepin on.

You can do it .....Believe in YOURSELF !!!! We all know you can do it because you've continually shown us.... Perhaps some of the frustrations lately are not so much you've slipped as it is subconsciously thinking of your boy and other children growing up. I know your really proud and should be, but admit it, it hurts a bit to see them leaving the nest.... I don't want to create a wound, but it appears your struggle coincided right about the time your son graduated. You were on a roll, got a little distracted emotionally, and then hit a proverbial wall. Take a deep breath, do not panic, it is a lifestyle change for a lifetime and not a race. There are no time schedules other than those you create...Yes we want to be in shape for summer and your upcoming EUROPEAN vacation, but remember you can and will be living this lifestyle from now on... It has been ingrained into your new way of thinking and fitness DNA. ...... NOW REFOCUS AND GET YOUR BEAUTIFUL BUTT TO THE GYM !!!!! (haha) And by the way, you have nothing to worry about in way of your looks.....You've been turning heads for awhile and I think you just don't realize. Your hard work has inspired many of persons to keep going ---now use your own advise. :)

I just joined, like within the last five minutes, and I ran across your post. It's like you're describing me. Except, over the winter, I gained back all I lost, and I just can't seem to get my act together. That's why I put this app on my phone, I'm hoping for the help with being accountable with what I put in my body. Good luck!
