Don't you realise how bad for actual health this is?

I used to read comments and hit the support button and enjoy seeing other people progressing along. Now there are a constant barrage of pictures with greasy food that I cannot look at without feeling hungry again so I flick straight past the front page now. You may not realise that everyone is on their own journey that may last years and some people on here are overeaters and this is the equivalent of chocolate or greasy chips under your nose every time you log in to record something. Please stop with the pictures. Why not share your recipes with everyone via the "cookbook" feature, then anyone that is into your type of diet will source them out.

I was wondering what is up with all the greasy food photos as well.

Yes, I'd assumed it was an "American thing"! Can't stand all the greasy, melted cheese photos of crap I'd never eat! LCHF isn't about eating greasy animal fat it's about eating healthy mostly plant based oils, some dairy and a little animal fat. Sometimes I wonder if LCHF is becoming like a licence for people who eat badly to keep on eating badly with a clear conscience? I am moving towards "Banting Down Under" for that reason. Love the Challenge and the MFS counters and record keeping, but.....

I agree Wilpena-It does seem people are taking tjis to the extreme. Animal fat or protein in linked to all cause mortality related disease. Closer to a plantbased when doing low carb diet the better

Just because I post the occasional post with delicious meat based natural fat dinners doesn’t mean I’m eating this every meal In fact I’m on the primal or keto diet which is extremely low carb, and I’m sure everyone knows that it depends on your genetic makeup as to what is going to work best for each person I still eat broccoli, cabbage, kale, cucumber, minimal tomatoes. Nothing with starch or wheat or sugar or big carbs. It is working exceptionally well for me and my mind, bloods and body are functioning better than ever, as I stare at the 40th Birthday approaching
