I have a friend at work that says that I have inspired her to lose weight. She did Atkins in the past but from what she has told me she was way to strict on it. She lost weight on it but it sounds like she really limited her food variety. Mainly ate eggs, meat, cheese and the only veggies she allowed herself was salads. She has been seeing what I eat at lunch and can't believe it. She told me that if I cooked for her she could stick to the diet. LOL She came to me yesterday and wants me to sit down with her and help her plan a menu for a week. Kind of nervous about being I guess a mentor to her. But it does make me feel good that she can see the success I have had so far and she wants to try herself. I am hoping we can be good support for each other. I made a extra MIM this morning for her to try. She was a little nervous about it but she said she liked it. I am going to go through some of my favorite recipes and make copies for her so that hopefully she will find ways to put in some variety and be able to cook for her and her family at the same time. She already started an excercise program last night. I hope this works for her.

That is wonderful nino. I find that helping others is often just what we need to remain active in our new WOE. Not only will she learn from what you share with her, you will be able to learn from her as well. Thats what I feel with everyone here. You are such a great person.
