Was a little higher on carbs than I intended to be yesterday - due to cabbage and beets. There's some irony for you. But I made beets with alfredo sauce and some pumpkin seeds (lots of garlic) and it was quite tasty. That was dinner which was preceded by a cabbage salad earlier in the day. I'm sure the effects will be temporary as both are full of fiber as well (need to check my net carbs, can't do that on the phone).

While I didn't get the dogs out for a long walk, I did manage to finally clear the kitchen of almost all of the clutter that's been festering for a couple of weeks. Cleaned out the fridge, cleaned out the freezer - so much waste, but not stuff I'm going to eat any day soon.

Work today, but working "light" will get out and take a 3-5 mile walk tonight - maybe even this afternoon - what a concept!
