Morning!!

This will be a quick one as I have a busy day ahead and must get into the office here soon.

"New" low today. 206.6. So anxious to get back under 200. Patience Moose, PATIENCE!!!

Hubby wants to lose weight but he doesn't like any of the eating plan ideas I have for him. Hmmm. Poor guy. All his weight is in his middle. Nothing fits. His pants hurt. He finally decided he would start by no longer eating a bowl of ice-cream every night!!! He can't bear the idea of no sugar in his coffee. He hates artificial sweeteners. I hope he has some success. I told him I will support him anyway that I can. This could be interesting.

I am finding myself with new "side business" interests. I may have more than I can handle. It will be interesting to balance my full time job with these new ventures. Thank goodness I earn a fair number of vacation hours because I think I'm going to have to start using them so I can get my other work done.

Well ... must dash off into the wild wet yonder. Yes, rain today. Sun yesterday. It was lovely while it lasted!! Take care of yourselves. I doubt I'll be able to check in today ... maybe tonight when I get home.

KINDNESS. PATIENCE.

No ice cream every night? That thought is just unbearable! LOL! Maybe substitute it with a super low cal version? :) That's what I've done. These days, smoothies are a good option too. Handful of frozen fruit, a cup of milk, some sweetener, blend and there you are. If you (or he) - like me - have a taste for chocolate, then make it with ice cubes, milk, sweetener and unsweetened cocoa powder. It's really good! Also - OF COURSE - congrats on the "new" low. It's awesome that you're getting going again. We know you can do it. Find that groove, stick to it. That's the way to go.

I love Keld's ideas! Moose, don't put your hub on a diet that is the word that scares ALL of us! We all fail at the first thought of it. The way I look at it is to start SMALL. Start with small choices he/anyone can handle. If he can ditch the ice cream, great. If NOT, try to make a better choice. 1/2 the serving, another brand maybe less sugar or fat. Little choices add up and before he'll know it he'll be on full diet mode! Best of luck to him and PATIENCE to you my bud!

Thanks buds. The man will not use a sugar substitute and can't bear the idea of life without sugar. When I suggested if he ate out he only ordered a burger instead of a burger with fries I thought he would blow a gasket!! LOL!! What? No fries???!!!! He'll figure it out ... I'm just here for the ride!!
