Day off from gym.

Up a 1/2 pound today ... but think it is due to lifting heavy yesterday and then loading on carbs. Will see on Friday when I weigh in again.

Shiatsu appt. today ... looking forward to this ... need to release the kinks in the shoulders, hips and hamstrings ...

Daughter's choir recital tonight ... will be sweet and fun.

I have quit smoking, altered how much I drink and really have managed to alter my dietary habits ... for myself and my children ... gotten more right with the mind ... now just to get on track fully with the body ... maybe go to a yoga class ... and get back to meditation.

If I stopped here, at 160, I should be content. My tone is good, I have good strength ... but I really have a goal of digging out the belly and getting down to the abs ... not ridiculous or cut ... just able to be seen more ... I have to think somewhere around 150 is a good place to be.

So close to high school waist size in pants ... now at 30/31 ... high school was 28/29, I feel good about that being 43. If I look back, my late 20's early 30's, I was wearing 36's ... at my height, that is ridiculous - and pushing 190 ... yet I didn't look and see it in the mirror ... we are in such a fog sometimes and can't see what's in front of us. Thank goodness for pictures ... seeing one made me get right ... right quick! ;)

I don't think we are all pre-disposed to add pounds as we age or that there is nothing we can do to reverse what we have done ... I think we can be as vibrant and lean as we were when we were young.
