Today's difficulties... foregoing my walks this week. Thing about losing weight is that sometimes the skin doesn't contract fast enough and the folds create painful side effects. Gotta see my doc tomorrow - that'll be pleasant... "You're losing weight too fast! Blah, blah, blah..." Jealous much?

Sounds like a fantasy meeting with a Dr!

That's one of the reasons I have an abdominal belt/brace. It helps contain the loose stuff and helps with the strain on the arthritis on my back.🤷🏻‍♀️

Judyrose1997, Tbaygirl... You ladies got me rolling this morning - thanks for that! Horseshu1... it's a Seinfeld thing, but I think he's more of a Kramer. smprowett, I'm going to have to look into that - thanks!

Ain't that the truth! He had me in there less than 15 minutes (I think he took his pill).

Well, 15 minutes is almost optimal time to spend with a patient-10 being optimal. I have a wonderful vision of your "Kramer" Dr entering the exam room. I will be entertained all day with that one.

Did he mention compression tops or other actual means of addressing his concerns?

Nope, but I did have a quick chat about these "over the calf" compression socks that were ending "mid-calf", constricting blood flow... he'll order "taller" ones ("taller", what is he... 9 years old?).

With the disclaimer that I'm not a fan of shapewear for appearances sake, certain compression garments can help loose skin to retract; letting it sag means gravity works against the body's means of restoring itself. So, not athletic "compression" wear but the really stiff ones. Spanx used to make undershirts for men, might still, but you didn't hear it from me.

I hope he orders the thigh-high compression stockings, and that you post video footage of putting them on. Had to wear them on long flights, and once for almost a month when on bed rest in hospital with no air conditioning. Plus side of hospital stockings was that nurses changed them for me. Flight attendants are no help at all!

Wow, T8U9... now I'm picturing the dude off Rocky Horror Picture Show trying to board a Southwest airlines flight... asking for help with fishnets... my eyes! My eyes! LOL!

Try thigh highs while bed ridden and 8 months preggers with twins! Now that was a feat (no pun intended) in itself! Hmmmm....Seinfeld....sock nazi!!
