So last week was not a great week. Well a couple of things. The air quality got really bad which for me meant that I couldn't even get on the treadmill. I was exhausted at the end of each work day. Coupled with that I started a new medication, Provera, to help with my periods. Not sure if the tiredness may also have been related to the new medication, but I certainly know the constipation has been. I have struggled in the past with constipation and have been taking magnesium in the AM and PM and this corrected my constipation issues. So now I have had these issues and am upping my magnesium and if that doesn't help I will have to stop the Provera. Seriously, I can suffer a few days a month with excruciating pain and flooding but I cannot deal with constipation daily. So my weight is up 2# and some change. I feel defeated, but I will keep going. I am doing a fat fast today with someone else and hopefully this will help get EVERYTHING going in the right direction again. If not then the I will stop the Provera. Well I will know in a couple more weeks if it works. I have to travel on business and the week I am gone I will be on my period and I really need to NOT be in severe pain and I really need to not be flooding since I will be at a conference for three days...with my boss. So yes if the fat fast doesn't help then once I get back I will stop the provera. I have to choose the lesser of the two evils.
