Loved reading your story. I started in Aug. 2015 @ 244 on my old diet, lost a few pounds struggling with hunger all the while. Saw Dr Perlmutter on PBS and decided to try a moderate keto under 50g. While searching for recipes on line I discovered dietdoctor and loved it. The science behind it is amazing. That was in Feb 2016. Now I have a loss of 64 lbs, A1c of 5.5, reduced cholesterol to 183 and feel stronger and younger than I have in years. I stay with dietdocter because i find the science so compelling. It really helps me stay the course. Even in very trying circumstances when I run to food for solace, I know it's available to bring me back to truth. Thanks for your story and keeping the word out there.

The first thing I did when I DECIDED to get back on track was renew my membership. 10 days in and I'm starting to finally feel good again. :) I go through the same thing with hunger when on a higher carb diet, even when it's natural carbs.
