madaboutmoose's Journal, 27 January 2012

I haven't felt like myself since Tuesday's elk encounter. I had a snack marathon last night. I did not weigh today. Okay. Confession over.

Today is busy again and I've little time to comment. I am practicing kindness to myself and refuse to beat myself up over last night. I knew what I was doing and made clear choices. Today is a new day and I am still the same wonderful, capable, and kind woman I was yesterday.

I hope all is well in your worlds ... will catch up with you later!!

Carol, feel better. The good news is 1) that you came out of the elk encounter (curious thing for someone named MadAboutMoose) fairly unscathed and 2) that today is always a new day. Have a wonderful day.

Heh..not suprised you're a bit rattled. Near death experiences will do that to you.

I hope you can rest this weekend. The Elk encounter was a traumatic event, your CNS took a hit as well as your car. You know that of course :) Give yourself a few days of clean eating and fluids and see where things stand. Take care lady. xo

Not surprised you are/were rattled by the elk encounter - boy oh boy I would have sh**t myself! And you walked away unscathed. Man you were so lucky. I know you are not feeling too guilty, its a long, long habit to comfort ourselves with food. So now its over, hope you feel better as the week-end progresses and you get right back on your chosen horse! Much love Carol.
