Sunday?

Oh my. Indulgence day was quite indulgent. I have no clue as to my calorie consumption and quite frankly I am good with that. We went out to breakfast and I splurged by having PANCAKES with my omelet!!! Hubby helped me with them and we still left some on the plate so that wasn't too bad.

We went thrift store and surplus store exploring, with a little added side trip to retail world at Cabella's, and ended up visiting our son at the Apple Store in Spokane, Washington where he now works and then taking him out to dinner. Hubby and I shared cinnamon glazed cashews at Cabella's ... yum. We went someplace we hardly ever go for dinner ... The Golden Corral. Talk about food overload?!!! YIKES!!! We won't do that for quite a while. Both of us were hurting. He is still hurting now. It is nearly 11:30 here and I still haven't had anything to eat. It was fun ... but buffets are EVIL. LOL!!!

I am trying my best to be productive today and not waste away the day on the computer. It is tough. I am seriously addicted to Bejeweled Blitz on facebook. That said though, I do have the laundry underway, I did make hamburger patties and a big pot of spaghetti sauce is simmering on the stove so I guess that counts for something. I have exercise clothes on but have not yet stepped onto my elliptical!! LOL!!! Does it count if you just wear your exercise clothes? Does that burn extra calories?

So ... in an effort to keep myself on track I guess I'll see if I can find some socks so I can put my shoes on and actually exercise. We have sputtering snowflakes here today. Snow is in the forecast for the next week but it hasn't gotten serious yet.

Hey Mad, sounds like you had a marvelous day..its sooo much fun to just let go once in awhile and eat as we wish...But the great thing about doing that is we are so happy to go back to our normal..No like before when we would say to our self..well I blew it today might as well eat all week..LOL..Later girl...:O)

What a wonderful day you have had.....I think putting your exercise clothes on probably does burn cals....actually joking apart a university did a study that proved that even thinking about exercise makes you healthier...you really had to get yourself in the state of feeling like you were doing it....yep can you even believe it wow I should be Helewis if it just means thinking about it...I often think about Heather exercising...LOL. I am interested to see how the indulgence day works for you....I think not counting is a great idea so you have a complete break from it.

Fantabulous! Awesome weigh in yesterday. Mmmm your indelgence day sounds so good. I love thrit shopping too. I am curious... when you say pancakes do you eat a whole stack? Do you share them w/ hub? I think when I first started to indulge I had tons of negative feelings after. I would hate myself. I finally learned to share the cheat meal, or maybe swap the syrup for honey or fruit ect.. mmm PUMPKIN! LOl Just a thought for later when you start to thin down, thin down those calories too. Easy to recoup too! Oh, and I know the feeling of the golden corral! Evil is right!

Three pancakes came with my omelet ... I shared them with hub. He ate some, I ate some ... and we left some!!! I don't think I could do a whole stack by myself ... too sweet!!! But a little ... oooh ... so good!!! Maybe there is something wrong with me but I don't feel guilty at all!!! I really watch what I eat 6 days of the week and if on the 7th I want real butter then I'll have real butter!! LOL!!!

Sounds like you had the fabulous week-end you were anticipating, very glad, 'cause that isn't always the case! Your food sounds yummy too. Hope Monday isn't too much of a reality check!

If we burned calories for wearing exercise clothes and not exercising I would be a size 2 LOL!!! I love that fantasy, one of my personal favorites!
