Down .2 lb? Ok, I'll take it. My scales were doing a weird, hinky thing this morning. I weigh somewhere between 205.6 and 210.4 but it landed on 209.8 2x in a row so I have decided that is what I weigh today. Being below 210 for me is a big deal. I haven't been below in 5 years for one thing. For another, I had a discussion with my sister back in October about how we were both stuck with our weight. I told her that while I had resigned myself, sadly, a long time ago to being overweight for the rest of my life and that it seemed I would have to resign myself to being over 200 lbs the rest of my life (based on being pretty consistently above 200 for all of the 1990's and most of this century) that there was no way on Earth that I needed to be above 210. I told her I would find a way to make this happen. At the time I had the need but not the know how, I had the desire but not the details. Those things were revealed to me shortly after the conversation with my sister and here I find myself below 210 and NOT resigning myself to being over 200 lbs the rest of my life. I have moved up my goal to 194 lbs. That was my wedding weight 5 years ago and it will also put me at 60 lbs total lost since last April (which was my goal at that time). Charging Ahead. As Pedram Shojai (the Urban Monk) says, "Don't wish for it to be easier. Make yourself stronger."
209.8 lb Lost so far: 0.8 lb.    Still to go: 41.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
