Ha!! Who else do you know who can "gain" weight by just thinking about consuming more calories?

Day 10
Weight 200.8 (okay it is only up .6 lbs but still ... really? ... I was so hoping for 199.8 after being cheered on by all my buddies!!!)

Ta da!!!! Today is FEAST day!!! I must eat more today. My fluct up today convinces me of it even more. I am hoping zig-zagging my calories once a week will keep me burning fat ... losing pounds ... inching closer to the weight range I would like to maintain in. I had to laugh though at myself. This is so typical of me. My weight fluctuates like crazy. Yesterday was just like every other day this week. I stayed well within my RDI. I drank my water. Check out my diet calendar ... it is all there. The only thing I didn't do was exercise ... but there was still a calorie deficit. Oh well ... the journey goes on and I refuse to be discouraged. My weight will fluctuate up even more tomorrow, no doubt ... and eventually it will tease me with yet another "new" low.

Chilly here this morning. 18 degrees out. Hubby surprised me by coming home early last night. No snow means boring nights of work for him. They had three other guys on too. He had a bit of a head ache and decided to come home. It was his Friday too ... so nice he could start it off a little earlier!! We'll do something this weekend. Not sure exactly what yet ... but something.

I ran into a former client yesterday that I haven't seen in several years and she called me "skinny!!" LOL!!! Not hardly!!! It made me wonder what I looked like before ... or was it the "skinny" jeans I had on ... or was it my hair style has changed.

Today I am grateful for

... the twitch below my left eye
... feeling hunger
... warm robe and slippers on a very chilly day
... time at home
... my buddies here ... I know I put you on this list a lot ... but you really do light up my days!!!

Another day of practicing kindness, a day of feasting (controlled feasting), a day of being grateful for life!!! Take care my friends!! Enjoy and be good to yourselves!!

Good morning and I hope you have a loverly weekend with your dear husband. You both deserve some time together. My scales are wacky all the time! LOL! Still pulling for you and getting into ONEderland soon! I hardly ate at all yesterday... so today I will start my day off with a Low Carb Coconutty Cupcake and some boiled eggs in a sec. I'm "who else" (can gain by just thinking about food). In fact, I'm getting nervous about your indulgence day ... thinking about all that good food you get to eat might add a pound or 2, for me. Thanks a lot moose! (LOL) Seriously, though I'm weighing and recording almost daily, oddly, the scale reading matters less to me now than before (unless I happen to shoot up 5 pounds for no apparent reason). I know one day is not going to make or break me...now it's more of a first-thing-in-the-morning reminder that I'm on this thing to goal, so stick with it. You're doing great...so stick with your plan and don't let one little reading on that scale get you down!
