**SIGH** so what does 4 months of complacency get you? I will tell you...it gets you 13#. Right - my new skinnier clothes still fit me but I could tell that if I did not do something soon they wouldn't. I do not know why it takes me so long to get back in the frame of mind that I need. I know that being tired is part of it and that is such a vicious cycle. I was tired yesterday but just had to make myself go to the gym. I have been trying for a couple of weeks to get someone to go with me....I knew that would help me but that did not work. So I had to bite the bullet. Guess what? I had that spurt of energy yesterday evening after the gym. Of course, no big surprise that I had no trouble falling asleep (not like I have been having) and I sleep very well. I do not know why we do this to ourselves. I know I will be beating myself up, but I guess I could be thankful that I actually stopped it before it got too far out of hand and I ruined all of my hard work (that has been my MO in the past).

Not steppin on the scale is only a help to complacency. You do not do well because of whatever reason. Then you tell yourself that you will do good for a few weeks THEN step on the scale. That is not how it works (at least not for me)! I have to hold myself accountable and that scale does it everytime.

So here I am 13# up and mad at myself for it. I know I must exercise to keep the weight off...not sure when I will learn that!
