Wow, love it FRIDAY!!!! I just checked in on my challenges and cannot believe it has been 10 weeks since I have had a soda. I don't even miss them now. I can definitely say that I am drinking more water since starting this challenge. I also made it through Halloween, with three kiddos trick or treating. The temptation was there but I managed to resist the butterfingers and snickers. Now to tackle Thanksgiving and this will be huge for me. I have always told my family that I love Thanksgiving because it was all about food and eating, no gifts or $$$ involved! Well, now I will make it about my family and the time we spend together making healthy, good foods. My husband even asked me to sit down with him this weekend and plan a health meal with foods that we can eat. This is real family progress. He is very encouraging of my lifestyle changes. I started last week working out six days a week with P90x at home. This has been a big commitment for me and my family. I have never been a big fan of exercise but I am starting to look at it as part of my new lifestyle and not a chore. My scale at home broke about four weeks ago so I have no idea what my weight is but my clothes are fitting loser and that keeps me motivated. Another motivating factor is that people are noticing my weight loss which used to scare the hell out of me. Last week a lady was shocked when I stood up from my desk at how much weight I had lost. Then another lady at work stopped me while I was walking to ask me how much weight I have lost and what was I doing. While shopping last night with my daughter for homecoming I saw a lady I used work with and she commented to me that I had lost a ton of weigh and what was I doing. Of course I tell them about Atkins and invite them to the free group workout I go to twice a week. The other night while I was working out my husband was talking to a police buddy on the phone and said “WOW you should see my wife’s legs; they are in such good shape.” I was embarrassed and proud all at the same time. This keeps me motivated. Well, I could not have done any of this without my GOD and the strength that he gives me. I truly believe this. I have never been a person to talk much about myself so none of this comes easy. I guess today was the day that I was meant to share this for some unknown reason to me. I do feel much better with the weight off and hope that I can help my kids grow up to be healthier and happier adults. I am taking every day one meal at a time. I still have a long way to go but will get there eventually. Thanks for listening. God Bless and have an awesome weekend.

I loved your report and sharing yourself with the rest of us. Your story certainly is motivational. I think that sometimes we tend to feel a bit embarrassed in sharing as we think that we are merely bragging. You weren't bragging but sharing with us not only your successes and challenges but also dignifying God's part in it all. Nothing is impossible with God and you are a perfect example. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations, great report how wonderful that your loved ones are all on the same page with you abd so encouraging and supportive. Also how nice that your broken scale issue has not stimied you. You must have lost a very significant amount through your hard work. I would not be able to contain my curiosity. Good for you!!! I'll bet you are in for a wonderful surprise once you can read the numbers. All the Best.
