Up a pound. Huh? How is that possible? I expended more than I consumed. People keep asking me if I am losing more weight. Commenting that I look skinnier. Right. Frank is not my friend today.

But it is FRIDAY!! That is a good thing. I did eat more than usual yesterday but still. Seems that is just what the scale does with me ... goes up and down willy nilly. Guess I shouldn't complain since I have come down considerably since vacation. Still. Whatever.

It is snowing lightly right now. Supposed to get 1-3 inches in the valley (that's town) and 3-5 in the mountains (home). We'll see. What my day looks like depends much on the weather. If it is snowing heavily I will not make the hour drive down the highway to visit a family in Spirit Lake. If it isn't snowing much I will. Other than that I have a visit in town and hope to go visit a friend who is recovering from a stroke now that my cold appears to be abating.

My five for today ...

1. FRIDAY
2. No new referrals waiting for me when I got back to work yesterday
3. I slept last night ... much better than the night before
4. Payday!
5. ..... use your imagination ...

So ... I will remember that this is a journey measured by the long haul not the short run in terms of what the scale tells me. I will be good to myself today ... remember how far I have traveled and how long I have maintained in the 180's (4 months now!!) and that those last 10 lbs or so can be quite stubborn. Have a great Friday ...

What a coincidence! My BF has been staying at a cabin in Spirit Lake for the past couple days - hunting a deer, or moose, or elk, or something!

....#5: Seven more days until the next Twilight movie, "New Moon!" LOL I know that you wouldn't have written that one, so I had to tease you and fill it in for you. Ha Ha!!! :-) Don't worry about being up one pound, by the way. Your vacation weight has just MELTED off. You should be so proud!

I don't even want to think about snow! We've been having unusually warm weather here and even have had some sunshine (which is rare sometimes) ! LOL. Saw your vacation pics......they looked great! Glad you had a good time. :-)
