Ok running buddies! Hopefully, someone can help me out with this. So I had the flu the end of February. I was down for roughly 2 weeks. When I started running again, part way through a run I would start to feel sick to my stomach. It's now been 2 weeks with running about 3 days a week doing 3.5k each time. And this sick to my stomach feeling is not going away. I'm scheduled to do a long run on Friday as I need to get back on track for race day which is April 3. I talked to my doctor who thinks its a strained muscle but I don't think so as I've done a Jillian Michaels workout a few times too and I don't get the sick to my stomach feeling. Any thoughts??

I have never experienced it myself but if you google it ( feeling sick while running) there are a lot of articles about the causes. Have a read. Hope you will find your answer!!!

I also had the flu and was out for 2 weeks and even after another 2 weeks I was not back to my normal self. Maybe you just need more time. Is there any chance you're pregnant?

Have you been eating before your run? Just wondering if that may have anything to do with it. I am not a runner, but sometimes when I workout, if I go a bit too hard I can get feeling sick.

Sick to your stomach like you're going to puke or like you're going to poop? Haha, TMI question, but I found that I got that "gotta go" tummy feeling on many of my runs... I just had to be very aware of what I ate and when I ate on my running days, and I also discovered that a lot of it was nerves... That's my 2 cents, I guess!
