I've been over on both carbs and calories the past couple of days. I need to rein myself in! The bullfight on Valentines Day was very entertaining. No injuries to bull or matador but an awesome show. Ole!! I have been getting my hour of walking in on the beach every day. The weather is so nice here. I am so pumped that the bulldog won the non-sporting group at Westminster Dog Show last night. We used to raise them and they are great dogs. I'll be rooting for her in the best in show competition tonight. Go AnnaBelle!! She is a beautiful dog.

They do bull-running in some of the local towns here (Spain, Valencia Province), but it's in the summer, and we're only here in winter, so we never see it. That's where a bunch of young bulls and young men kind of chase each other through the streets. There are occasional accidents, but usually neither animals nor people get hurt. It's an excuse for the young men to show off and let off steam. I don't think the bulls are asked whether they want to take part or not, however! There is actual bull-fighting as well, again only in the summer, though it's mostly for the locals. I'm not sure whether I would want to see that.
