This Morning ... 179.6
YESTERDAY
Calories Expended - 3049
Calories Consumed - 1853

Busy, busy day yesterday. Was out all morning and didn't get back to the office, where my lunch was waiting for me, until 2:30 pm!! Still "snacked" last night but not compulsively and not to the point of feeling ill which of course is a positive!!

It seems though there is something to be learned here ... from my last month of so of increased caloric consumption ... I really can eat more than I was and stay in my range!! Pay attention to simple math, respect the numbers, trust my body, respect my hunger, all that good stuff. Anyway ... I'm just happy to have made it to Saturday.

Oops ... I forgot about my list of five ...
* clear blue skies
* Ben & Jerry Half-Baked Froyo
* My mom is coming home today
* My goofy boy doberman - Blue who makes me smile
* My husband's arms around me

Not sure what the day will hold as it appears hubby is now having a kidney stone attack ... so woodcutting might not be an option. Later though, we will be picking my mom up from the airport to bring her home after her 2 week vacation with her sister in So. California. It will be good to see her. I know she is nervous about how she did with her eating ... and she has been worried about Bob and I.

Have a wonderful fatsecret weekend!!!

179.6, great job!!!! You have "still to go 0 lb." So: what is the next goal for you?

Okay ... confession time. My actual goal was/is 175 ... I changed it to 180 when I started to struggle with all that has been happening these past few weeks to 180 ... simply psychological for me. So ... I need to change it back to 175.

That snack monster couldn't defeat you! Excellent! I hope your hubby feels better soon. Kidney stones don't sound like fun at all. Have a wonderful weekend!

Amryk ... I think I'm going to try to work on a friendship with the snack monster!! When I was a kid and had a repeating nightmare I can remember trying to make "friends" with the monster in my dream. So ... perhaps the snack *monster* isn't really a *monster* at all? Maybe she is actually (well at least some of the time) a part of me, letting me know I need some more fuel? LOL!!! Okay ... maybe I've gone completely off the deep end here!!! Thanks ... enjoy your time with Lee!!!

Your approach to weight loss contains logics and facts. Strong approach! Common sense. That scientific analysis of data is a refreshing shift for me - one who clouds her strategy with emotion and subjectivity! Thanks so much! Now go give-get another hubby hug! Gotta love those hubby hugs!

Ah the Snack Monster....gotta love him/her! Funny how we give a face to parts of us at times...you did a great job listening to your body and that is such fantastic progress! Way to go!

Interesting maneuver, changing your goal upwards, I had not considered that one. Re simple math, it always prevails. Good job breaking 180! :-) I've heard that there are new methods for dealing with kidney stones which I'm sure you know more about. I hope he feels better.
