Addie Aline's Journal, 19 June 2015

As I feared a few days ago the pound and a half didn't hold but I did lose a pound over the past 2 weeks. I know that's not much I had hoped for more but with so little exercise I'll be happy with it.

I have to see my Dr after we get back from vacation about my MRI some things on it I already knew they are birth defects but there is new stuff dealing with the L4 & L5 and Arthritis so I don't know if there is much that can be done. arthritis drugs are out because of allergies so we will see.

I am making myself walk more and it hasn't made the pain any worse so that's good.

I wish I could make myself excited about this trip but I just can't. Trying to do Atkins correctly at home is one thing but being able to do it away is something else and I haven't lost much yet and I fear I'll gain it all back. I really don't want my hunger to return like it was when I was eating bad carbs.

I've got to get busy so everyone keep up the good work.

Addie,eat a little bit more of the good protein & fat...it will keep you full! don't be temped to eat bad carbs, it will start you to crave! boil some eggs and buy your Atkins bars..

Pick protein and green vegetables slathered in butter, bacon and eggs, etc. The fat will help you not crave carbs.

Thank you for the suggestions I'll try to use the in just nervous about eating away from home for so long.

I know - I felt that way last April when I had to go for a week on business trip. I planned ahead and took control so I was able to stick with it.
