I am taking a break. I ate everything I wanted to yesterday, and mostly today too. I almost finished off my lemon and blackberry pudding that I made - it was good! Very lemony...Healthy stuff but I am just not caring about watching what I eat! I joined the no weigh in challenge - I'll weigh myself again Sunday and maybe Tuesday at the WW meeting. Or maybe I'll take my no-weigh-in night. Man, I am just not interested in looking up the food anymore.

I got a really sweet note with some meal plans - Thank you FacingForward! I will try some of those but I am just too tire to count anymore this week (maybe).

I did go to the weight lifting class again today - that is a lot of fun, actually because the leader encourages us to yell and make noise by asking questions - and she is someone I have known, so that makes it doubly cool.

What is this lemon and blackberry pudding you made??? Sound yummy. Here's to lifting weight, that will burn calories and make muscles.

I'm curious ... what do you think this is about? Truly you are not caring about what you eat? Really? Have you been real restrictive with yourself and feel like you are deprived? I hope it works out well for you ... and you find what works ... maybe you are just tired of thinking about what to eat and not eat. I wish you the best!!

madaboutmoose: Lots of things going on today, and not going on. Feeling blah. WECANDOTHIS: Yesterday I picked blackberries out of my yard, and I had a lemon and a recipe and Wala! Here's the link: http://www.recipegirl.com/2008/08/25/blackberry-lemon-pudding-cake-2/ except I didn't have buttermilk so I used yogurt instead. It was so tangy! The blackberries were very tart too.

I really do hope you do something about your situation soon. You are worth it.

Glad you enjoyed the weight-lifting. Does weight-lifting involve "counting" too - like counting the "reps"? I understand your reference to being "too tired to count." My sister was diagnosed with clinical depression a number of years ago. Her medication helped a great deal. One of her symptoms was being OVERWHELMED by measuring, weighing, counting, totaling, and otherwise "scoring" her weight loss effort. Eventually she turned to Jenny Craig because the meals were "automatic." She said she did not have to think. That program worked for a while but "totaling" the COST was overwhelming.

The weight lifting class is set to music and run by an instructor - she tells us how much weight to use (different for everyone) and she has the whole body workout set to 1 hour of music.
