a Bit sore this am after hoisting supposedly 40# bags of topsoil, compost and mulch. They were all wet so who knows what they really weighed??? Good weight lifting workout!

My front yard looks amazing!! Better when the lilies, annuals, and roses start blooming. Hoping to get more done on my backyard tonight including planting more veggies, if the rain holds off. They are predicting possible rain the rest of the week starting late today. Loving the fresh greens from my yard.

Goal for the week is to get to 70,000 steps again. Also get some strength training in.

Oh, do I know what a little rain water will do to those bags. And I'll bet you are sore! But if you are like me, this kind of exercise is much more enjoyable than any workout the gym could provide. Enjoy your beautiful lawn.

Oh yeah! LOve working on my yard as I know you do also. Now if I can ever ever get back yard looking as good. My original plan didn't work due to the type of soil etc. so I started re-vamping it last spring. Not there all the way yet, needs lots of work.

Hope your plants do well with the rain. Do you have a rain barrel to catch free rain water?

Just sore muscles, a good sore. Thanks Deb. I don't have a rain barrel. Have looked into them and are a bit pricey, so not a priority. Might if I find someone selling theirs cheap.
