After a few years where I refused to buy fresh strawberries (except farmer's market) because they would go bad in a day or two - they're back. This year, they seem to have overcome that weird, white mold and they are back in my life. peppers were an afterthought and the chicken is only increasing in flavor. Pizza tonight. unless the line is crazy. so excited.

Kat, I fill a big bowl with water, add a big splash of white vinegar and dump my berries in there. I swish them around a little and put them back in their container. I find they stay fresh much longer. I actually do this with most of my fresh produce, though I let everything except the berries dry before I store them. Works for me.
