Do I cry or celebrate?

Weigh in today is NOT @ goal. What happened? According to my scales I gained 5.5 lbs overnight! I did not go out. I did not drink. I did not eat cake, candy, etc., so why, why, why does my scale HATE me? On the other hand my calendar from Jan 2014 has me down 10 lbs, so I will take joy in that, and pray tomorrow's weigh in is better.

5 years ago today I watched my older sister take her last breath. My younger sister called this morning and got me moving. She's picked up some type of virus and is starting 2015 home sick. So I took over some things she needed, that got me dressed & out of the house.

I just need to keep momentum. I am a TV addict. Once the TV's on, I'm glued and momentum ceases. So I stopped to eat, and update my status. Now just got to get back to it.

Hopefully 2015 will bring us all more good days than bad. Happy 2015 everyone.

Celebrate.... You can't help that your scale is still stuck in 2014, and need a little more time to make the change over to 2015. Your right...look at the 10lbs down, and jump for joy! Great Job!

plus, how accurate is your scale? and you don't by chance have it on a soft carpeted surface when you weigh? That will give you varying results as i found out lol.. besides it is really about the way your body feels, your clothes fit and your ability increases - numbers can be a detriment to your loss. If you accurately log your intake and your exercise output daily, and your intake is less than your output, you will lose weight, unless there is some underlying medical reason for, for example, water retention. And if you take medication, check to see if water retention is a side effect - we forget that sometimes even too much salty foods can keep a pint of water in us.. pint's a pound eh? xxx chin up! it's just one day pet. xx

I so can relate to this... I had thought I was through the love/hate relationship with my scale til this am.. Hang in there it will drop the thing I am holding on to is the way myclothes fit... Have you taken measurements lately that seems to help me when the scale is not playing nice
