Well, I'm back home from my hernia surgery repair. Things went well and I'm on the mend. I can't have a shower until Friday though and will be off work for 2 weeks. I might be able to start working out in 2 weeks, definitely within a month. Right now I do have some soreness, bruising and swelling. Hopefully, things will get better over the week. The hospital I was at in Toronto is called Shouldice and all they do there is hernia repair. So all the patients there have the same common pain and we were all helping each other through it.
Nothing else to report. Happy Monday!

Just take it easy following that surgery. I remember when I had a hernia repaired, the doc told me not to go up and down the stairs and take it easy for a few days. I felt so good following surgery that I went up and down the stairs multiple times, thinking that I must be an exception to the rule. To make a long story short: I really paid for it the next 3 or 4 days. So, moral of the story, even if you feel good and strong, take it easy. Get well.

Sponge baths :( hope you take it easy and heal quickly! I am sure it's not easy with your son. They still love to play and often forget.
