I tried to make a chocolate paste from kisses by melting them in the microwave. The idea turned out to be idiotic, don't try it at home.

I melt chocolate in the microwave for the same reason - trick is to use 50% power 30 seconds and melt butter with the chocolate (in about equal amounts). The chocolate will not be completely melted at 30 secs, but stir it until all the solids have melted. If you don't use butter, a little water with the chocolate *might* work.

Whatever you do, don't add water! Water causes melting chocolate to seize up, meaning it becomes dry and almost powdery - even a few drops of steam will cause it to seize. You can melt it in the microwave, but do it in 15 second increments, stirring each time until melted. If you want it to stay liquidy, like for use in a chocolate fountain, you just add a little bit of vegetable oil.

Yeah, in my school we add some oil, I decided to avoid this part and got THAT. I'll try again with oil today, thanks!!! 😘😘😘

Kisses don't have enough real chocolate. They look slightly over cooked. You'll figure things out. I like that you experiment. Who's your handsome companion?
