Well ... the next migraine has come and gone! I wasn't at the office more than 30 minutes and my visual aura started. Damn. So, I waited until it passed. Can't see very well with flashing lights and blurred vision!! LOL!! I canceled my day for today and tomorrow and headed home. With this rash of them I am tired of driving to work only to turn around and drive home with an aching head. I have some work I can do here on my computer so I'll make up the hours in-between migraines. The weirdest thing about them is in-between episodes I feel really good. One minute I'm FINE, the next I'm in MAJOR pain, then a few hours later I feel like a new woman.

So, I guess the good news is I have some relaxed work time at home with my doggies and I'll get to work on my online class without the interruptions of others at work!! I imagine I'll have a couple more before this cluster is finished. I keep hoping menopause will make them go away but no luck yet. Well, time for some delicious French Vanilla decaf and pondering about lunch!!

Oh no you poor thing! I have to admit though I am thrilled to hear someone else who experiences those visual auras. I get ocular migraines without the migraine headache (except once)and people can't imagine how disturbing those visual auras are. I hope you get over them soon and get back to feeling as good as you can. Your chart is looking incredible! Bravo!

People look at me quite strangely when I tried to described those visual auras. I don't look ill!!! I'm hanging in there. Fortunately I've only had one today!! Thanks!!

My wife is an optometrist and believe me many many people get the auras that you are talking about. Not a month goes by that my wife doesn't see 1 or 2 folks with this condition. I'm sure that doesn't make it any better but it might be comforting to know you aren't alone. Get better soon.
