then this happened for Lunch from five guys but hey I didn't give into the yummy fries or milk shake I still felt guilty half way through eating it and threw the top bun out saved 50 calories 5 carbs lol 4th time this month I won't be in a calorie deficit

Sometimes you need to listen to your body. You can order 5 guys with no bun , they put it in a container 😂😂

Don't feel guilty! There are no bad foods. And you did really well adapting the meal. Just try to regroup for the rest of the day.

I've been doing that for years only eating 1/2 the bun. My dog loves it and I don't miss it usually. Last week I was so hungry I ate had a whopper no mayo or cheese and fries. 1/2 the bun. Too bad I couldn't control myself for the fries. LOL

I get the 5 guys as a lettuce wrap and add the vegies - still just as good and minimal carbs. It is a big calorie load so I have to plan for it but at lunch it is a treat.

You have to indulge some times, I do a burger in a bowl w/ mushrooms as a treat.

Throw one bun away , cut the rest in half, make a 1/2double burger! Enjoy!!

Good on you! Choosing to forgo the fries and shake was a great way to indulge without OVERindulging. I’m always a little bummed when I say no to the fries but I thank myself for it later 😁
