John10251's Journal, 23 March 2021

I'm a little bummed out today. I was pretty good until I watched the evening news last night. Because of that, I didn't sleep well and on top of that I had an early morning meeting that also cut my sleep short. I did not have a chance to eat before the meeting and coffee alone was not doing the trick. I faked it through the meeting, but now I'm ready for a nap. Needless to say, today will be a rest day...
Yesterday I ate at 100% of goal, exceeded my protein goal and met all activity goals. 1037kcal deficit // BF↑0.1% // BW↑0.6#

sorry John. what brings me encouragement is reading the psalms. David suffered with depression symptoms in a few of them. but he always bounced back. I was feeling like crap the other day and really not hearing the lord. then he gave me psalm 77. even david had those thoughts as mighty of a man as he was. super encouraging to know being human is normal even for mighty men of valor. you rock man and I'm so glad to know you. even if only virtually.

I know what you mean, I felt the same way after watching the news some days you just have to take it slower and take a rest and then make it up on other days...anyways, have a good one!

I've started watching about 10 min of news in the morning cuz I don't like all the repetitive stuff. It starts to get depressing... Hope you get a better night sleep tonight!😴

Hugs.. we are all in this together, I'm pulling for you... (red green) I had to stop watching the news for a while..I would catch the good stories and mute the others... and when that didn't work I literally stopped watching

We put our living room TV out with the trash over a year ago. Total garbage completely unmissed. Strongly recommend.

Thanks Everyone!!! Sometimes I post from the heart deeper some days than others. There seems to be so much division from one news network than another. All I can do is to trust GOD...
