Starting my exercise journey at the MAC. Very excited!--it looks like they have great amenities, and my membership is only $15/mo. Swweeeeet

I have to get rid of this Cabin fever anxiety that is taking reign over my nerves.

Speaking of nerves, man, people are antsy/rude/hard to deal with today. I work a phone job and every call someone has yelled at me, or has made me feel small. I'm trying to keep zen and stay in my happy place inside my mind, but it is proving harder as the day goes on and the calls get more extensive.

Not to mention the drive to work was like a Tarentino movie where everyone has to drive like a bat out of hell. Cool, dude, great that you feel that you need to get nowhere right this minute but would you mind not pulling out in front of me when there is still about 3in of unplowed snow on the ground.
Sheesh I am stressed!~~~~

Must be something in the water.

A gym membership...there you go - and amenities to boot! Hitting it after work is a great way to cancel the day - and forget all those negative Nancys out there. Keep on, keepin' on!

I know I am so excited to get started!! I am going tomorrow morning for the first time to break in my new membership. I have definatley been feeling the pressure of my inactivity weighing down on me. Usually I am a very active person, however, with this new job I am not as active as I need to be and it is driving me crazy! It is so funny how when you think about "working out" you think "oh jeez, I REALLY hate doing that" and then once you get started you think "what the hell was I thinking not doing it?!?!" Hahahaha

You will feel sol good. Have been missing my new gym the last couple of days due to weather issues. Will be there tomorrow-- to heck with shoveling more snow!

The weather here is just so bad that I am giving myself excuses not to go. It is about a 30min drive to the gym. However, I am telling myself that rain or shine I WILL GO NO MATTER WHAT. But the weather does put a damper on things, doesn't it!

I HAD A JOB JUST LIKE HOW YOU DESCRIBED. YOU MUST NOT TAKE IT PERSONALLY THEY ARE JUST GONG THROUGH SOMETHING AND FORGET THAT THERE IS ANOTHER HUMAN-BEING ON THE LINE TRYING TO HELP THEM. JUST BE KINDER....AND DON'T LET THEM MAKE YOU EAT THAT CHOCOLATE BAR.....LOL

I am also on the phone all day. Customer serves for a mutual fund co. Crazy time of year for us. Usually no lunch break and overtime. People are usually not mad at you but a situation. Don't take it personally. I'm lucky just a few of our callers yell.

Meant to say working out after work and my little morning walks help my stress level.
