God hath not promised
Skies of blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives through;
God hath not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
But God hath promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way.
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy
Undying love...

We will miss you Pastor Berry. God has said, "Well done, thou good and FAITHFUL servant."

He is singing with the chior of angels now Cindy, I can hear him! I have my Joy FM on listening to christian music. That music comforts so well. Can you get that station where you are? Or another one? It is where I get a lot of my strength. It is funny how God will send the perfect song just when I need it. Maybe it would help you too.

Beautiful poem. Beautiful memories you have. Continuing to lift you and your church family, and Mrs. Berry to the Lord in prayer. He has won his race victoriously; now we who remain must run our own. May the Lord say unto us: "Well done my good and faithful servant." Run with strength the race set before you. Love you sweetie. Jesus is the lifter of your head.

I know what you mean about music. I used to be a DJ for a Christian radio station for 10 years. It was more a ministry than a job. We sang alot of great hymns this morning at the celebration. I got to hug the pastor's wife's neck and we cryed together and laughed together. Also, I wanted to let everyone know that I served fried chicken and scalloped potatoes at the luncheon today and didn't cheat even a little bit. I ate roast beef and green beans. Even brought an Atkins bar for dessert so I didn't feel deprived in that area. It was great to see so many people come for the celebration service. Thanks buddies for your prayers. Love and hugs to all of you.{{{}}} We Can Do It With God's Help and a little help from our Fatsecret buddies!
