Oy... rant forthcoming...

Got the word that the girl's grade will be quarantined for 2 weeks because 2 onsite remote teachers tested positive. It's out of an abundance of caution. I'm not particularly worried for our physical health. I'm more worried about the mental health of me and hubs. I can handle the girl being here. I could even handle the boy if it comes down to it.

I am not looking forward to the 3 days/week hubs will be home too. His job isn't forgiving about interruptions and loss of productivity.

Back in the spring when things first locked down, the daily learning schedule was horrible. Very little learning happening. This time, both kids have an emergency folder with a very clear schedule of activities. That eases my mind some. Plus, the girl's a bright one, she'll be fine.

It's hubs handling things the days he's here I worry about. I've already warned my manager that my attention will be divided. He'll be understanding; my office is badass.

I just told hubs and he seemed to take it well but that's easy to do when you're not in the thick of things. I'm trying to be upbeat about the whole thing when really I'm trying not to tailspin.

Picked a fine time to be without a therapist...
