Yikes!!! Talk about Dr. Atkins flash backs!! I'm glad everyone is ok. ~tig 

Thanks Tig. Should have had the video camera. I tell you between last night and today we might have won the $10,000. 

Oh Cindy are you sure your daughter is alright. She will probably feel it tomorrow. Bless her heart. I bet that did scare little Olivia. You need to be very careful too. Have a good day. Bren 

Thanks Bren! All we need is for Naomi and I both to be in bad shape. Then how would we keep up with the mess that Chad makes. He would put little Olivia to work if he could. She already helps her nana unload the dishwasher and keeps me refolding clothes. 

Oh how sweet is that.  

Oh my gosh, hope she is okay..please watch the ice...Hope Olivia is fine.  

I did that the other day when I took my garbage to the street, only I slid under my brothers girlfriends car and had my dog with me. Thankfully it was almost midnight and the only other person who was outside was my neighbor across the street who is a nice man that didn't even laugh as he helped me up. However it is still very embarassing, glad she didnt break anything tho! 

Oh, Pixi, are you okay? Olivia is fine she was with me. We were watching from a distance. 

Cindy, it is so awful out there and the part that really ticks me off is that while it was coming down, I was watching the local weatherman (the one on channel 2), and he was saying that there was limited moisture, and maybe some lighjt glazing on the overpasses, and my sidewalk was already too slick to walk on! Ridiculous. My BIL had to leave his truck on Hiway H and walk home in that dizzle and the 13 degree wind chill. Took him an hour and a half! They had closed that Hiway right after he got on it...talked to the Hiway dept this am and they said that even their big trucks with chains on weren't able to drive the roads! Gnarly! 

I wonder if I'll make it home this weekend?  

Oh yeah other than a severely bruised ego I am fine lol Princess was more upset than I was she was running back and forth licking my face while I crawled out from under the car. The weather this year is so weird up here, one minute its raining than the next its snowing so the ice is SO terrible I am just glad I have my jeep or I'd still be sitting in my driveway because its that icy. 

So glad that you are okay. Wish I had a Jeep in this kind of weather. Please stay safe and warm. My daughter will be home soon and I have to finish packing tonight. Got a few loads of laundry done so that she won't have to play catch up this weekend. Thanks Steph, Tiggs, Bren, Raven, and Pixi for stopping by my journal today. Not as exciting as Leanne's or Laurie's. 

I swear I am made of rubber, I am so uncoordinated that I fall all the time and never really hurt myself (knock on wood). As for the Jeep, I couldn't live with out it, it is kind of like my toy car being as I can off road in the summer and then not worry in the winter, and it has saved my butt a couple of times in the winters. Have a safe trip home!

OMG...I am glad she is okay...did you tell her about walking like a penguin and was she too cool to walk that way?....Yikes....Falls are dangerous...I have the ones where your butt bone is bruised or broken for months, but usually I just bounce! TOWANDA!!!!!  

LOL Bounce, that would be me, like a weeble wooble, glad she was ok, and good thing for rubbermaid :) 

My daughter seems fine this morning. Told her about the penguin walk Lisa. She thought that was funny, but she said that she will try it. Come to think of it...that's how the security guy was walking. They put a bunch of salt out after she fell yesterday. How cheap could they be? It's the financial district. Guess that's how they make all their money is buy being so cheap. And I don't mean frugal. Chad is acting like he is the one that fell yesterday. I think he pulled something playing tennis last night and is to proud to admit it. He is so hard to get up in the morning. Naomi has to wake him up at least a dozen times. They have two alarm clocks. Olivia and me make enough noise too. Oh well. Naomi is warming up the truck. Chad should be out there scraping the ice off the windshield and warming up the vehicle. Maybe I'm just spoiled at home, not here.  

So glad to hear your daughter is ok, Cindy.. Stay safe and warm.. There is inconveniece in this cold winter.. I am spoiled in our California weather :) Have a peace-filled day!
