I bet Olivia will just love it. We are having Christmas eve with the husbands kids, will be home Christmas morning, open at home Christams night and my son and grandson will be over Sunday around noon to finish up. Too troublesome this year. Was much simpler last year. Hope you are having a wonderful day.:)

My niece loves Hello Kitty. She had to have one made at Build a Bear. She puts the clothes she had when she was a baby on her. Have a great day. Bren

Thanks Laurie and Bren for coming to my journal and your nice comments. My son's 22 year old girl friend, who lives in China, loves Hello Kitty too. This is supposedly her last year of childhood according to Chinese culture. Hate to think what that makes my son. He teaches at another university. She will be looking for work for about a year after she graduates college. I remember playing dress up with my dolls and bears. Sounds like alot of fun. Hope that ya'll Christmas isn't too hectic and that you are able to relax some and enjoy the season. I will say this to myself too. The son in law wants to take the family iceskating again tonight. We never made it there yet. I'd like to see the little one get on skates for the first time. As for me, it won't be this year:( There is always next year. Have a wonderful day:)

Hi Cindy... we open are gifts every christmas eve and let the boys play with everything! We going to midnight mass at church so its how we keep them up late. Not that they need it now they are teenagers, but its still our tradition. We did the same when we were kids. Its kinda nice to sleep late on christmas day, then wake up and go visiting. This year were gonna stay home though and enjoy the day. PS. . . love hello kitty! pink is my color !

So glad that you will have your family for Christmas day. Our Olivia Grace is 19 months old, no she is 20 months old. I've not been keeping very good track. A two year old grandson...I'm sure he is the light of your life:) Christmas is always special when you share it with those that you love. I am praying for all of the people out there that don't have anyone this Christmas. We are going to serve Christmas dinner at a shelter at home before Christmas.

That is so awesome, giving to those less fortunate is really what the season is about..acts of that nature really nurture your soul. Little girls are so wonderful..they are so much fun to shop for as well!
