I don't know if I saw it here or somewhere else but I tried boiling radishes which I have never heard of before in my life. let me just say those are very very very good taste like a potato

roasting them is good too, as with any root veg. A touch of olive oil, toss different ones together, and enjoy. Parsnips are my favorite, but carrots and turnips work well. If you garden, you can grow really different ones than what you'd find at the store--hamburg parsley and scorzanera or salsify. Each is slightly different and tastes great. Some have more carbs than others.

Yes! They are great in soup and lower cals and carbs than potatoes. I thought they were a bit bitter roasted though
