Frustrated today...not with my weight but with my little boy! He gave me a hard time again today getting ready. I ended up yelling at the top of my lungs and now I'm upset with the outcome. Mind you, it got some results with him to get ready. And then at dropoff, the babysitter informs me that my son is old enough (he's 3 yrs 3 months) and that he needs to be potty trained. This is the same lady that told me a while ago not to worry, it will happen and not to force it. And now she wants to force it. All I know, is that my son will probably go for it when he's at the babysitter's but it will be a different story when he's home for us.

I just still upset with myself for losing my patience. Lord help me with this!

Don't beat yourself up! I've lost my patience and yelled at my kids, felt bad all day and apologized to them when I got home and they're like, well we weren't listening and you had to yell (they are 4 and 7). I don't have any potty training advice it was pretty easy with both mine, but I have the benefit of Grandma being the babysitter, so we were always on the same page with it. We have the differnce at babysitter to home with food, they will eat stuff at her house they won't touch at home!

I think every parent has had those times that they lose their patience. It's just part of being a parent, we're not perfect. The 3's are the hardest age, they are testing so much and learning so much, and I don't think they know how to handle it all. My son was harder to potty train than my daughter, and I think he was in the 3's. We let him pick out his own undies and then made him wear them, and eventually he just learned. Yes, there were a lot of accidents, but it didn't take too long before he figured out what to do. He did wet the bed for a long time too, but the during the day stuff didn't take too long once we just got tough and made him wear undies. Good luck!!
