Wow, am I ever bummed today!! I guess it's just 'cause I'm tired but I feel like sad-ville! My DH is on nigh shift last night and tonight and I may see him for an hour tonight. This weekend is shaping up to be hectic. The grass is growing and we have 3 lawns to cut (ours, my parents and the house at the other farm my dad owns) provided it's dry enough. And gardening. My mom is 76 and finding her gardens are getting overwhelming and my oldest sister is the gardener but is too busy. Maybe on Sunday she can do a few things but get this only if my DH will help her. My other sister has gone back to school full time and is too busy to help with anything. Plus, my DH's dad wants to stop by. I loathe the man and my husband knows it but we should see him but when I ask if we're busy at my parents all day Saturday and then I don't want Mother's Day ruined by the FIL, so that day is out too. Plus somewhere in all of this we need to get the house cleaned and groceries. I just too tired to think about all of this. Calgone take me away.

Don't let someone ruin your day. Kill them with love and kindness instead. Maybe it will rub off. :)

Yeah, because if you just kill them, it will still ruin your day. :)

It does sound like a hectic weekend, think of the extra calories you'll burn with all the activity, but I do understand the need for some down time. My mom has been struggling with getting her garden weeded, so I think tomorrow I will go help her since I get off work early or maybe Saturday morning. I'd like to stay home Mother's Day and hang out with my kids, but mom and mil wouldn't like that so a-visiting we will go.

Aggie, there will come a day when you can't do for your Mom and that'll bum you out even more than having so much to do, trust me. Take every opportunity to spend with family while you can, the house work will wait unless you have a cleaning fairy which I doubt. Tell DH to go see his father and while he's gone it'll be YOUR time. Bet he'll be home a whole lot quicker to spend some time with you!
