Woot-hoot!!!!
I didn't even blink! I made pies, dreamscicle cake, strawberry shortcake , pink lemonade cookies, key lime cookies, homemade turtles, baked potato casserole, broccoli cheese rice, baked beans, homemade yeast rolls BABY BACK RIBS, BAKED HAM, DEVILED EGGS, SUGAR FREE JELLO. I cooked it all, but I ATE the underlined foods. I think the key is to never let yourself get hungry. Sit down, treat yourself (cup of hot tea) a break with SF Jello, something that YOU really like.
I even had ONE SERVING of Subways Seafood Sensation Salad in the refrigerator, JUST IN CASE I needed it for a decadent treat (I have it figured as 7 grams carbs, but I really wish I had a truly accurate choice).
Never even touched the SSS! My treat was having my family home, together. It was wonderful to cook for them all their favorites. Even more wonderful to pack up the leftovers and send them on their long trips home.
What a magnificient holiday.
