It amazes me that I would be the exact same weight to a tenth of a pound, 2 days in a row.
I know I didn't eat enough yesterday. I was having trouble going to sleep, thinking about how hungry I was. I ate under 1000 cals yesterday. Is 1200 calories a day really too low a goal? Maybe I need more 1800 calorie days, or maybe I should eat when I am actually hungry, regardless of what time it is.
Made me think about our Korean tai chi grandmaster from 8 years ago. The man was 60 years old, looked about 30, and was fit as a 20-yr-old. He hardly ate anything. I even recall him demonstrating how to eat air. Some fruit, some soup, and some strange tea that he brewed that had bark in it -- that was a typical day for him. Surely he had to be getting more calories from some other source. Never saw him at the Krispy Kreme drive-thru though.
Today I'll be going with my mom, aunt, and niece to see a kimono exhibit at the art museum. We're supposed to go eat sushi afterwards. No rice. No rice. No rice.
9:30pm Confession. I had 4 pieces of nigiri sushi, so I had rice, rice, rice, rice. Small pieces though. They didn't have a cheap sashimi option so I went with the lunch special.
Then I didn't feel like cooking tonight since hub is OOT. I picked up a steak supper with wild rice and salad from my favorite Lebanese restaurant. It was wonderful, but I ate more than I should've. Still I don't think my calories even got to 1800 today. I definitely feel overfull and will not want to eat that much tomorrow.
