Well, nothing to report - things are slow around here, with no progress being made on the clean up front or the planning eating front.
I got on match the online dating site - no one has contacted me. Except one guy who is a scammer. Rats. I know better than to send money to Nigeria though, so that is that. And he was cute. Or the picture that was posted was cute.
On the plus side, I signed up to help at Habitat for Humanity - got out and helped my neighbor build her house! That was cool.
My daughter's party is Tuesday so I'll be pretty busy tomorrow!
Hope you had a good weekend and will have a good Monday!
What I am grateful for:
1 - My friends and their sense of skepticism
2 - My house, however messy, is mine
3 - Sometimes, adventures are exciting even if they turn out badly in the end
4 - My job

Hi abbadabba - I too have found no one on the dating site I'm on - it's tough out there. I may have to wait until next year. I plan to go back to Hawaii probably and there IS a really good social life to be had there. It's a city on the island of Oahu, Honolulu... anyway, the photo posted is of me in my apartment from January that really is me at age 47 1/2, six or seven months ago. Hope you're well...

Well you must be doing plenty right, Abba, if one goes by your weight chart. Congrats on your drop!! Hope your daugher's birthday prep goes relatively smoothly. Peace. ;)

mmmm ... plenty of fish in the sea they say!! The challenge is with an ocean so big, how do you find the right fish? Hang tough my friend ... each day presents itself and eventually passes on. Think of it this way ... some folks say a clean house is a sign of a sick mind!!! So if you home is messy must mean you are healthy psychologically!! LOL!!

I do better not planning and just asking my body what it wants/needs when it is hungry. The whole planning thing makes me want to run! Plus it is an excuse to eat "what evah" because I have not had "time to plan." Hopefully you find what works best for you and if it is planning you get the time fit in to do so. :) What a great thing to do with Habitat! Good for you! I am sure you will meet lots of people through them if not through the dating sites. Either way have fun!

Whoooeeee, stay away from those that want money from you so they can make you rich. You're right. That reads S-C-A-M. You would think they would know we are on to that line by now. Slow and easy abba. You need to clear your mind from what you just went thru first. Start living for you first and the rest will come in time. Maybe not good to have a man in your life right now. You don't need other problems at this point. When in doubt, re-read your grateful list. Have a lovely evening Abba and since this is Tuesday, hope your daughter's party was nice.
