KayBuckaroo's Journal, 02 June 2019

Well I had a pretty high calorie week. I seem to give into temptation in the evenings whether it was a cheat meal at McDonald’s, Girl Scout cookies, blueberry pie. I do really well congratulating myself when everything fits into my plan, but I also do a really good job of making excuses and shrugging my shoulders when I overdo it. I’d like to maintain this 200 pounds for a while. Then I would really be at about 30 pounds gained total this pregnancy, and I could save a couple extra pounds to be gained towards the end.

Remember you're building your baby's body and brain out of what you eat. Junk food really has no place there. Let love guide you.

Idk try not having it around the house. Seriously. Or at least in smaller amounts that are doable, when it’s gone, it’s gone?! Just suggesting to help. I have no clue how to help bingers.

Wifey it’s okay! If it’s here or not, I will get it if I want it. But the key for me is to stick with the portion sizes and fitting things in my day calorie goals-wise. And, recognizing and acting accordingly when I am experiencing emotional hunger vs physical, thirst, fatigue, etc.

I know you’ve come a long way Kay my friend. I’m so proud of you. Your story has caused me more compassion for those who really struggle with food. I had no knowledge or experience with it prior to fs really. Your courage is coming I truly respect. I’d love you meet you. I’d give you a big ole hug my dear! Haha! I grew up with such a loving family, kissing, hugging, affection. Sorry. Maybe it’s not for everyone. Haha!

Thank you 😊 that’s cute! I think fs attracts more people than we ever could realize with eating disorders. It’s definitely a great tool for recovery. And I’m sending you hugs 🤗
