One of the drawbacks of working from home.....when you are sick you still have to work. I am sick...headache, sore throat, stufiness...throat is the worst of it though.

I don't feel bad about what I ate off of plan yesterday, and we did some walking around at the gun show and flea market...a couple of hours worth.

Of course I got worse as the day went along and could only do broth last night...I am sure that sodium was not good to me....especially on top of the sodium in the bacon.

Today seems like it will be some of the same. Hot coffee...hot tea....some broth.

6 inches of snow and it is still snowing as DH is outside snowblowing. I will have to shovel the back today...my poor fur babies had to dig a path in the fluffy snow to go potty. They looked so cute but they were ready to curl up in balls when they got back inside.

I work from home too, and when I'm sick, I am so glad I don't have an office I have to go to. Work a little, rest a little, work a little, etc. Tell me about this breakfast you had...how did you mix all those things together, was it a coffee drink?

Look at you going. I haven't been paying as close attention as I should have been. You are losing weight in leaps and bounds! Just take care of yourself and be careful but you have to make sure you're eating something. I sure hope you feel better soon. If hubby isn't sick let him make a path for the fur babies and you stay inside out of that mess until you feel better.

The coffee..it is good and filling...I microwave the coconut oil and butter together. I add it to about 4 oz of coffee and add the Torani then I blend it all together. Once blended I add it to about 12 oz of coffee....the butter and coconut whip it and it is a good way to increase your fat intake. DH did clear a path for the fur babies....I was pleasantly surprised! As the day has gone on I have felt better...thanks everyone.

I just tried the Bulletproof Coffee (???) this morning. My recipe was a little different in the method but the ingredients were the same. Jaime, it was too early and I didn't have the lid completely seated on the blender so dashes of it were spitting out. Like I Love Lucy, too funny. The coffee came out so nice and creamy, yummy. I didn't use Torani, but put liquid splenda in my mug. It was filling and as you said, it is a good way to increase fat intake. Not sure it will become a morning ritual but it was fun and delicious. Now, I lived in Georgia for 20 years and I've been in North Carolina for 22 years (born in Alabama btw), so the idea of having to clear a path for fur babies is 'fureign' to me. How did you ever survive the switch Jaime? Hats off to you:-)

Yes it is a variation of bulletproof coffee that I got from someone in a group I am in.

Lbsgoner....lol that is funny and I actually say "I am having an I love Lucy moment" too! Funny!! I am freezing!!!! It is beautiful here though! TOFU....my bulletproof coffee is a tsp each of coconut oil and butter melted. I add sugar free Torani French vanilla and some coffee...blend it and then add to the balance of my coffee.
