So had a pretty good weekend. Lots of exercise chasing kids around my Mom's property, walking horses, feeding animals, moving goat pens. I definately over did it some, joints ache today, very stiff. But at least its not a stabbing sharp pain. ^_^ So looking at the good side.

Diet wise, I didn't track, internet is funny at my mom's and cell service is non-existant. But Friday night I had a plain hamburger and cherry tomatoes for dinner. Then Saturday: breakfast: bacon, grits, a slice of toast, and coffee, lunch: 1/2 cup of rice with homemade gravy, fresh tomato. Dinner: steak, salad, baked potato. snacks: a serving of chicken in a biscuit cracker, grape tomatoes, 1/3 of hershey bar. Sunday: breakfast 2 small pancakes, 2oz of sausage, syrup, coffee. lunch: 4 chicken tenders, 1/2 cup of fried cheese curds, sweet tea. Dinner: was full and not hungry so I didn't eat dinner) snacks: none. lunch was on the go, so it kinda took the place of snacks for the day and it was 2pm when we picked up lunch, then I snacked on it for the next 2hrs in the car on the way home.

Monday: rolled around bright and full of good intentions minus sleeping through all my alarms and waking up at 6am when I have to leave by 6:30. lol. Luckily I did some meal prep the night before. So Greek yogurt and strawberries for breakfast today. I had a large green apple as my mid morning snack. Tart and delicious. Lunch will be salad. And Dinner I'm not sure about yet. Today is my Oldest Daughter's 10th birthday. Thinking of making something she particularly likes. So I will leave that up to her tonight.

Decided on dinner. Kids are having a birthday dinner of Baked Chicken Nuggets or corn dogs, mac and cheese, and green beans. Adults: Chicken and potato gnocchi soup with spinach, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic.

Also have to meal prep some breakfasts for the rest of the week. Turkey sausage, cheese and potato with a separate snack bag of spinach for savory options and greek yogurt and fruit for the sweet option. Both breakfasts have a ton of protien. Though the sausage is higher in sodium.

Anywho, enough with journalling today. Almost time to go home and cook dinner after I pick up kids. :)

Sounds like you did really well while visiting. It's good to get away sometimes.

Thank you for the support Sunnyblu. :) I tried. And all the walking and moving around was good for me, even if it made me sore.
