KayBuckaroo's Journal, 20 March 2019

YEEEEEEssssssss I ate at my goal for the first time in weeks! I made low calorie choices, and even had dessert. Little man ate for the first time at dinner in months. I’m sure the 2 are related, meaning I didn’t want to have extra portions of food at dinner on account of him throwing a fit.

Food is so healing. I’ve been watching my 5 year old, 36 pound son laughing and smiling with us and all I keep thinking is I have missed you! And I’m so relieved. He ate avocado, which before Steve I wouldn’t have bought. He also ate cheese. He then had a granola bar, and he now is enjoying ice cream! Truthfully, I’m thinking he’s doing great tonight because we watched educational movies on anger management after school, and snuggled while Steve made dinner. He normally would be in time out upstairs for his behavior at school. He certainly didn’t act any better today at school, but I’m so tired of our boy being in trouble all the time.

Anyhoo, I pushed a broom again today for hours on end, and I actually got a workout in. Now if I could just drag myself into the shower then go to bed. But I’m afraid that the recliner has won once again.

Good night FatSecret, and I hope y’all have had a beautiful first day of spring.
