KayBuckaroo's Journal, 31 December 2018

Carrots and mustard for 2 snacks, quinoa and kale, steamed brussel sprouts, steamed broccoli, milk in my coffee, and a homemade Icelandic pancake with sugar free syrup. I have been eating vegetarian for a reduction in calories, but not strictly or anything. Fun fact, I maintained a very slim weight in high school and was actually a vegetarian, so it comes very easy to me. I truly enjoy the food products that are tofu based, quinoa, etc .. I’m feeling good about my food choices and I’m feeling GRATEFUL for having food that I wound up enjoying. It’s a win win. Had a wonderful friend over tonight for a few hours, and we chatted while playing play doh with my youngest. I so enjoyed the adult conversation! My new year resolution is to do more of that: both playing play doh, and having great friends over for great conversation. I’m closing out 2018 feeling better now than I ever recall on this night. And it’s just been a very good year overall, for which I’m incredibly grateful. I really hope you all have had a wonderful time today, and don’t forget to make a wish at midnight!
