Answer to a PM. My lifestyle consists of swimming almost every day to the tune of about 400-500 calorie expenditure. That activity coupled with the other things that I do gives me a considerable overall daily deficit . Those are the days I try to eat up to my RDI. Sometimes I just can’t eat that much. On days that my normal lifestyle is disrupted and I know I will be more sedentary, I plan to bring my calorie intake down to accommodate. It doesn’t always work out that way— you can never plan every piece of everyday, but I do try to have a plan. I have been eating and swimming and living this lifestyle for a very long time 15+ years. It’s effective.
